We created the name and brand identity for Mane, working closely with renowned hairdresser and creative director of Sebastian International, Shay Dempsey and top international colourist, Andrew Dunne both previously of Zoo hair salon.

The identity steers away from typical salon hair shots, instead using playful jellyfish and sea anemone illustrations a subtle reference to glossy, beautiful, hair. This more natural and abstract approach is a world away than the usual highly polished salon style shot.

A distinct tone of voice was developed around the name, and this fed through to product ranges and language for signage. The project included all brand collateral and in-store graphics. The result was a highly unique brand in a crowded market, that created cut-through yet was within the requested budget.
